Growing up on a small Midwestern farm in central Ohio, Louis Rusch built his
own farmhouse in the early 30ís in which to raise his family. Working with
fresh grown foods, his daughter, Mary, discovered her love of cooking early
in life, and spent years with her grandmother learning her recipes and
techniques. She eventually started adding her own variations creating
healthy recipes of her own, yet she still maintains the quality and
freshness her grandmother always insisted on.
Started in 1994, the Hash
House has brought her recipes to the public. Her insistence on quality has
set a standard others find hard to match. Mary continues to develop new
recipes and works daily in her Las Vegas restaurant preparing meals for her
guests. As Mary would often say.. "Sit down, it's time to eat!"
